Today was a really full day, got to get some painting in early in the morning before going off with a friend to kayak. This trip we ended up at the Kelton Trailhead which is in the outskirts of a suburb facing towards Lucky Peak Reservoir in Boise. I don't really know what I was thinking by having the canyon so far off to the right side of this painting, but *shrug* it turned out. Sometimes it is fun to play with composition--and sometimes it is a happy accident because I am in a hurry. Again, with my favorite paper size, the 6x12 Fluid hot press watercolor paper. Sakura Koi paints and aquabrushes yet again. It was a beautiful and clear spring day, a few new faces I had not met from the PAPI crew were there; a delightfully funny couple who embody fun and artistic freedom.
