There I was, waiting at a bus stop, watching this cute little Asian Lady Beetle stumble around. It's not a proper lady bug, notice it's orange with more spots (thanks internet). I paced around this little bug as I waited for my bus. I bent down to try and pick it up so as to move it into the grass and keep it safe, but it didn't crawl on my finger. I carefully boarded the bus, found my seat in the back. I checked my phone and turned my arm and there it was. It hitched a ride after all! Little bug had a bent wing tip and it kept opening it's carapace, perhaps trying to smooth it down. It shifted it's weight to the front legs and scratched it's two back legs together on each side a few times. It was so peacefully just doing bug stuff on my sleeve. We rode through half the city on a crowded bus and made it off together. When I got off the bus, it flew into the misty night air.
